Music Composition: Google Sustainability

October 14, 2023 >>>> I recently composed and produced music for Google’s Sustainability summit in Belgium. This was an incredibly fun project. I hopped on board with the team at Hook (which is like the ad agency version of A24 for film companies) to create a really cool introduction to the entire feeling and vibe of the summit. Listen and let the power of sustainability wash over you. You can see the bumper in situ below the animated video.

September 10, 2023 >>>> Space Ryder is finished! This was an incredible experience, and it all finally came together. Truly a rather remarkable feat considering the film’s constraints. This film was shot in five days and includes all sorts of environments and effects. I had the opportunity to view it at the Historic Kodak theater, and it sounded BIG! This was mixed in 5.1 in my studio here in Mt. Washington.

Hats off to all who worked on this with me, and thank you, Disguise!

SOME AWARDS!!

…also, as of September 10, 2023…

…I’ve now uploaded a recording of a live show I performed before moving out to California for grad school. During 2003-04, I played weekly at a coffee shop in Minneapolis called Dunn Brothers every Wednesday. They let me play as long as I liked and I’d play 2-3 hour sets each week, just me and my electric guitar. I decided to record one of these shows, and now I’ve cleaned the songs up and uploaded them into the internetverse. My score for the modern dance piece Crossroads has also recently been mastered (shout-out to the ineffable Brett Thomas for mastering) and will be uploaded this week.

…much of my music has been temporarily pulled from the webs (to the degree that’s possible) and I’m in the last few stages of completely mastering and cataloging all my past recorded works, which will eventually be available on all platforms. What can I say, I want at least a semblance of control of my work that is put out there. I have the outdated habit of neglecting my self-promotional responsibilities; the links below are not especially current, but should help for those who absolutely do not have the time to get to know an individual past an Instagram scroll.
